Teaching And Curriculum

Teaching Assignment

During the past 3 years of employment at the Culinary Institute of America, I have taught 7 different classes spread across a variety of Specialized disciplines throughout semesters. This versatility not only enables me to have a very good understanding how the students' progress as they learn within my curriculum, but also to see how programs are laced together. They are like building blocks that are stacked as they progress from course to course, each one building from the previous. If these blocks are carefully stacked, and then put in the right order, then eventually it will lead the student to success. Acknowledging, the course learning objectives for each of the different classes, has enabled me to find different strategies in order to better assist the student's learning outcome.

My Diverse experience and exposure have allowed me to be more versatile within the Institute, as well a better adaptable tactician as the semester blocks progress.
